TELAR - Cultural Pavilions

These are the very first conceptual ideas for this project, which I hope to develop into much more polished final versions.

Experiment 1

Model scale:

1:5 for similar size pavilion to this one.

​

*Notes to self: If Prototypes are 1:2 scale, pavilion should not exceed 2.5x2.5mt in real size; meaning 1.25x1.25mt half-scale maximum size.

 

Consider 1:4 scale for bigger pavilion explorations too.

Simplify!

Why the act of weaving? Using thread allows for more managable workload if bigger pavilion as it creates voids and spaces with ease. Illusion.
